21.12.10 20/20 HipHop Awards!

IT'S HERE.

You voted, we counted - and wow, did you guys throw up some surprises. This Top 10 is unlike any other we've had before. Never before have we had an act claim two spots on the roster. Never before have we had the same act do it in the top three. And never have the heavy hitters been beaten at the last minute by a complete surprise entry.

Put it this way: the guy who got to number one is going to knock your socks off.

Thank you for voting. Thank you for listening. We're back in 2011. And by the way, to say thank you in an extra-special way, one of you walked away with some swanky vinyl and CDs. Who was it? Better listen to find out if it was you!

Dr Syntax is about to drop his funky-as-hell new album Benny Huge. We've dropped a couple of joints from it in past episodes, but what we want to play today is something a bit more fun. All that and more on this 20/20 - and have you voted in the 20/20 Hip-Hop Awards yet? You should: you could win some ace prizes. Listen to the show for more!

We have one hell of a triple play! And of course, that J Cole is getting a work out. Who cares if it was a 'reference' track for Puff Daddy? Cole rocks.
